2023 marks 50 years since Burnley Youth Theatre opened its doors and became a second home to so many people. Turning 50 means we have quite the story to tell. From curtain calls and royal visits to fires and floods, BYT has seen it all and has always come back bigger and better.
This exhibition is part of our year-long creative programme called ‘Reflections and Revelations: Our People, Our Place and Our Future,’ which will capture our extraordinary history, celebrate the memories and milestones and look to the future so we can continue for many, many years to come. We hope you enjoy seeing a glimpse into our archive as we celebrate the magical moments and amazing productions that have made Burnley Youth Theatre what it is today.
