Towneley Hall and Parkland have always changed with the times. We are always looking to improve how visitors experience this beautiful, historical and varied space.

Towneley Masterplan

The masterplan will guide how the park develops over the coming years in a way that respects the heritage and ecology of Towneley, whilst creating a modern park that meets the needs of the community and creates opportunities for income generation. 

Path Improvements

The Towneley Park Masterplan identifies that improvements to the Towneley path network and introduction of traffic calming measures are a priority for park users. See our proposals and give your thoughts in our short survey.

Traffic Calming

To control speed and reduce the number of vehicles using the park as a shortcut, the Council is considering installing speed humps at 100m intervals on the road through Towneley Park.
