Towneley Bonfire & Firework Display 2026

Yes, you heard it here first, Burnley Council is delighted to announce that after SELL-OUT events for the past 5 years, the annual Towneley Bonfire and Fireworks Extravaganza will return to Towneley Park on Thursday 5th November 2026 and we would love for you to come and join us again at Towneley Park.

There will be lots to do including the funfair, hot food and drinks, music and games from the main stage, a Fire Performer and TWO professional firework displays. 

Event Timings

• Gates & Funfair Open – 6:00pm
• Bonfire Lit – 6:45pm
• Junior Fireworks Display – 7:15pm
• Mega Fireworks Display – 8:15pm
• Event Finishes – 9:00pm

Tickets (on sale from October 1st)

• Single entry – £5.00
• Family of 4 – £17.00
• Children under 2 years old – FREE
• Riverside ‘Premium’ Parking – £10.00
• Woodgrove Parking (with a short walk to the venue) – £8.00
• Disabled Parking is also available at Riverside, subject to the purchase of a parking ticket.

Please note: There is strictly no parking in Towneley on the night without a pre-purchased parking ticket, these are sold on a first come first served basis and will sell out fast!

The event is non-profit. Ticket income covers the cost of staging the event.

No pets; no personal fireworks or sparklers; no alcohol.

Booking Terms and Conditions

All tickets must be purchased in advance, there will be no tickets for sale on the door. No parking in Towneley Park unless you hold a valid Woodgrove or Riverside parking e-ticket. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. Should the event be cancelled due to bad weather, a full refund will be issued. 

No other refunds will be issued.

Entry

The entry point for both vehicles and pedestrians with tickets on foot is via the main Todmorden Road entrance into Towneley Park, opposite James Hargreaves Bathroom Centre. The route will be lit with lighting in the trees for those who are travelling to the event on foot.

Please ensure you have all your eTickets available either in your mobile device or printed out and the QR code is ready to be scanned on the gate to allow for a speedy access.
